Almost impossible Dave is pritty happy with a certain tuner, and he is going to be there through the tuning process also to take care of any mechanical issues and ensure no problems like last time. Gives me more confidence. Hoping to make a good 700rwhp so unfortunately higher power = higher risk, but fingers crossed.
Sheesh, where to start. Im going to do a proper post when I get some pics, cause I havent had a reason to post anything in soooo bloody long now. Engine: Essentially 90mm forged pistons (wiseco) with ceramic coatings, pauter rods, cometic head gasket. Heads have bronze guides, 1mm oversize ferrea valves, titanium retainers, headwork ported and flow tested by kostecki engines, JWT heavy duty springs and JWT wild cams, all held together by ARP bolts. 800cc sard injectors. New MS manifolds with GT675RS turbos. Custom split dumps that convert the turbos to externally gated (internal gates removed). Heavy duty external pump with external surge tank to supply the fuel. 100 wet shot nitrous for the drags, custom aquamist water injection system for track work. Controlled by motec M 800. UD pulley, OD water pulley, lightened flywheel and carbon fibre driveshaft to lighten the drivetrain. OS Giken twin plate carbon clutch good for 1000hp and lighter than stock. Front mount, plus twin air intake. Will be getting custom intake piping to convert it to 2.5" all the way through. Brand new factory coilpacks as well a HKS ignition amplifier. New wiring loom. Aeromotive fuel filter. New OEM air regulator and IACV. HICAS removed with new NA steering pump and hicas solenoids etc removed. Car was resprayed in original aztech red, including the engine bay with the engine pulled out. Every single exterior molding, rubber etc has been replaced with new factory replacements. Interior is redone in black leather, and two Sparco milano 2 seats installed. Every interior panel through the boot, wondows etc has been replaced including things like new A-pillar trims etc and new carpet in the back. Rear has 2000 spec lights and illuminated centre panel, as well as illuminated kick plates. Also the 2000 xenon headlights. Also things like new gear shift knob, new gearshift leather boot etc. Only thing really left to replace int he interior is some of the dash stuff and the steering wheel but I want to wait till the rest is finished. Also nearly forgot all the defi gauges and stuff for oil temp, water temp, oil pressure, EGR, boost and fuel pressure. Plus Ive got all the old stuff like ES bushings, new sway bars, eibach springs with adjustable KYB AGX shocks etc. Need to also get some 6 piston AP brakes etc but again waiting till the rest is ready. Probably heaps more I forgot but as I said I will do a proper writeup when I have piccies. Cause I just ordered the manifolds the engine still isnt in yet so wont look all that great yet but getting there very quickly.
Sounds like a nice build, like mine only smaller turbos but then the 100 shot nitrous should take care of that... cheater! Interested in the dumps do you have any pics?
