Hi. I found a really old thread on boxes for subwoofers that followed lines in the boot. That was for a 2 seater. The newer thread I found is for 2+2 but it looks like the producer excommunicated himself. Any idea where I can get two enclosuers?
there was someone on ebay from memory a while ago who shipped from the US. Don't know how much it would cost though. have you thought about making one yourself? Not as hard as it looks.
I'm pretty unco when it comes to fabricating stuff from scratch. I can piece together Ikea bits like a pro though! Would car audio shops be able to figure something out for a snug fit? I'm afraid that when I do it myself, that I'll get the measurements all wrong and have it either too large or too small on all fronts.
Some car audio shops definitely will fabricate a box for you, just depends on whether or not you want something functional, straight forward and keeps your boot space or something of show car quality. take it to a few places and see if they can give you a rough idea of cost.
Use cardboard to make a template.If i does not fit make another, and so on until it's right.Then trace it onto wood.Just have a go theres no harm in trying.
getting the correct angles is the hard thing and its quite awkward to get it right Check my audio install thread from a year or so ago and youll see pix on how to do it,my wife ZXTCY also has a thread when she did her boot install
