my tt manual wont seem to hold idle needle is all over the place like its running on 4cyl does drive ok with little bit of hesitation unless. If i pull up to a stop sign or set of light once my revs hit just under 1rpm engine dies then it starts easy. so far i have checked afm all good, boost leak test all good and no codes and checks all coils and plugs. my fuel pump is always buzzing was thinking that could be a problem but un shore any thoughts of what it could be let me no cheers.
the one to check is the ECU sender unit not the dash gauge sender unit.. the gauge one has nothing to do with the cars running. the sender unit on the left with the two prongs is the ecu one, check and clean connectors, if still the same there is a test in the FSM (check resistance as it cools). you could also have a vac leak or a number of other issues...
As Med said Temp sensor for the ECU is the sensor right next to the temp gauge sensor. If your temp gauge was playing up chances are the sensor right next to it was in similar condition, clean it and see if this helps. :zlove:
Thanks guys found the problem today under the blance tube where your bolt screws in had broken and chipd away part of the plenum and was leaking so now looking for a plenaum in qld are??
