Good evening one and all ill make it short and sweet. My Fuel has been bad for a depressingly long time, and finally i have booked to get the wiring for the sensors looked at, and that's why im here writing to you good folk. Simply put the mechanic has requested (it will make it cheaper for me) any information that will help ie, color codes, pics of the o2 sensors wiring looms and anything of that nature any help highly appreciated. P.S Bad fuel as in 150-200k's per tank, and this was beforeand aftermy conversion to 14psi and o2 sensor replacement. So next step to get looked at would be the wiring?. Both sensors reported errors via the ECU. Its even at the point now that when idol in the morning ill get white smoke coming out from my exhaust's with the strong smell of fuel about it. :help:
On a side not, while at idle before driving on my merry adventures if i rev the car while in neutral it has a nasty habit of spitting water/black liquid out the exhausts... related? or another "To Do" thing?
i think the black water will just be condensation mixed with the black sooty shit from running rich. but im not sure on that. as for the wiring might be a better idea to break out the multimeter and have a shot yourself, i got ripped badly from auto sparkys at the end of last year, and they didnt even do anything! cheers mike
you car need serious work. if you have fuel smells. it means you have a major leak . take your plenum off, look down the lower plenum . pressurise your system to check for injector o-ring leaks. i bet that your injector orings are so shot there pouring fuel into your intake. hows your idle? also check for a aftermarket ecu chip.. 150 kms for a tank is stupid i was getting over 400per tank with 245kws at the rears
Well that's the problem i hope to get solved, but what i need is the "know how" info to give to the sparkie to make hes job easier (and cheaper for me)
