VIC Winton pre-meet/ cruise Saturday 4th July

For those racing or anyone wanting to come and watch, we will have a group cruise up to Winton on Saturday morning.

For SE members:

Cnr Warrigal and Princes Hwy at the Shell servo. Be there at 5:15, we leave at 5.30am sharp. The Shell is 24hrs so you can grab some petrol/red bull there. We will jump on citylink so you'll need an etag/weekend pass.

For Northern/West/others:
Meet at the BP/KFC/Mc Donalds servo in Wallan, on the Hume hwy. Be there at 6.30am. We will grab some breakfast and try to leave before 7am.

If you jump on the hume hwy at Western/Northern ring road you will pass Donnybrook rd overpass/roadworks. Keep driving about 10-15mins from there and you will see some sings on the side of the road with the Petrol/food pictures. There is one on each side of the road, can't miss it.

We will try to get to Winton before 9am (no speeding, heaps of speed cameras on the hume), the website says drivers briefing is at 9.30, racing starts at 10am.

Bring a CB radio if you have one, I have a spare I can lend out.
Try to fuel up beforehand so we don't have to wait around too long at the meet points.

i will not go for citylink if i cannot get the weekend pass..

 

go to an australiapost, or go to the citylink website. it costs like $12 or something.

 

or you can di what i do and just go through it , they will send you the bill to your house .. it 15 16 $$$ i think , sent to you ..

Also you can't really miss it as it is huge and on both sides of the road.

not sure yet, depends if I can get the car 100% ready. Have 3 days after exams to work on the car. I'll be going up to watch even if I'm not driving on the track.
