QLD Winter Willowbank Drags 7-07-2010

Hi Everyone,

Just putting out an EOI as I'm keen to take the Z back down the 1/4 mile and there was talk at the last Z-Willowbank meet that we should organise another one in Winter.

July 14th is pretty much smack bang in the middle and when I intend to have all the new work done on the Z so it would be a good time to organise another group run down the strip.

If this isn't suitable then perhaps July 7th could be a possibility?

Post up interest and feel free to post to other Z forums too, just don't tell Boost/SAU/etc, the less 'others' the better for us

 

Im interested but can't make in on Wed nights..... will also be out of the country for a few weeks in July

Will all depend on dates etc and if my car is fixed by then!

 

7th is good for me, can't make the 14th. I like Wednesday nights, normally a bit quieter.


And bring your woolies, it gets friggen cold out there!

 

7th is best for me too. what sort of costs we lookin at here. havnt taken the Z down the strip before, open for new experiences.

 

$40 to race, and that gets entry for one spectator too.

Lol how stupid, I didn't even realise it was on a Wednesday

We can make Saturday the 17th an option as well, or whatever, depending on the majority

should have the turbos hooked up to wooshka's NA by then, and the 14th sounds good to me so far (my b'day the next day), depends on work commitments

I too will be out of the country from the 10th July. Wednesday the 7th would be best and as Chrispy said, its usually quieter midweek.

 

I guess I'll be around, work should be completed by then.

 

The 7th is also Origin 3 so there should be even less people there We did the same last year - went on the night of Origin 3. I've RBP'd the first post to amend the date to the 7th.

 

Sweet! State of origin is a good excuse for the falcodore bogans to stay home and leave the dragstrip for us

i should be able to come, i got to beat my 15.9 :thumbup:

 

my turbo's have just about totally had it but I might come and take it for a final run before the motor comes out. Last run was 13.5 with a few issues holding high boost

 

7th FTMFW! It's not my day off but it will be!
Hoping for 12's again.

 

I'm hoping to get somewhere in the 12s. I don't care if it's 12.99, my goal is to get a 12
