That's right the cowls have arrived and I have them all in my garage . Now starts the painful job of compiling all of these orders and getting quotes for all of you. Please be patient I'll get these sent out as soon as I can.

Anyone who wants to can come and pick them up at any time (Northern Beaches Sydney), but please let me know you are going to so I don't waste any time packing them and getting shipping quotes.

For those of you who are not in a position to pick up, I only have a couple of people combining their shipping cost at the moment.

Jinxed has agreed to receive a shipment for anyone in his area (W.A.). (Hurrian can you please PM me if you'd like yours delivery to Jinxed).

cru1sr has agreed to receive a shipment for anyone in his area (Melbourne).

Thebigshow has agreed to receive a shipment for anyone in his area (Gold Coast). (Zed Kelly can you please PM me if you want your's combined with TheBigShow).

MagicMike has agreed to receive a shipment for anyone in his area (Brisbane).

If time permits I'll try to have these all packed up and ready for shipping quotes on Thursday. After which time I'll PM each of you with the quote. Once the shipping has been paid your cowls will be shipped out to you.

Shipping Quotes

Ok so this has been a bit of a task but finally have quotes for shipping. Most of these boxes are 110cm long which mean Australia Post wont handle them (105cm max). Anyone who thinks they can find a better quote is welcome to try, but I think I?ve found the most competitive prices. A single box containing one of each of the cowls plus the screws weighs 1kg and its dimensions are 110x20x5cm. CarZ, because you have 2, yours is 2kg and 110x20x10cm. Gmbresso and Kiwi Zed, I?ll just wait for your instruction on what you would like done. FairladyZTT and Attila.Z yours will go via Aust post as they are the small cowls only. In each case to cover for tape, packing etc I?ve simply rounded up to the closest dollar so please not bother me with quotes saving less than $1. If you no long have my bank details PM me and I'll forward them.

For those of you who have combined shipping, payment can be made in two ways as I see it. Either to the person receiving the cowls on pick up, or to me, but I think we will all need to do it the same way. So Jinxed, MagicMike and Thebigshow will have to pay me the total and collect from each member when they pick up their cowls. So guys if you aren't happy doing it this way I'm happy for members to pay me individually, but I will have to hold sending them until everyone has paid up. Can you three please let me know ASAP which way you'd like to do it so I can inform the others when and where to pay .

No worries Graham, I'll see what I can find for you. Are you on a rural property? Do you know someone in town it might be cheaper to send it to???

 

Yes I am on a farm, and couriors do NOT deliver here. they drop at a depot in Coonabarabran (5 of them) and some times I have to do the search thing to find out where.
When you get a quote just get depot drop, not door to door and please include ph so the agent can call (ph 02-6825-4227). They do call...sometimes...hopefully

 

Australian Air Express have quoted $23, how's that sound? There was no where to specific depot on the quote form, but if you are happy with this I can attach a message when I send it.
