Drivers side window doesn't move under its down power as of today. The motor in the door still makes a noise like normal but the window doesn't move without my help. Help?

i had a problem like this from a long time ago.

still haven't found a proper solution yet but mine was caused by bad window alignment. the motor won't force the window up or down to prevent breaking the glass.

if you can somehow get the door trim off it's very likely the window will work again. once i put the trim back on the window gets stuck :\

initially i shoved a piece of rubber into window moulding and that magically made it work again.

Read this post of mine from late last year:

Then read how I fixed mine and gave it a full overhaul:

My window reg would make all the noises it should, but the gear mechanism which drives the crescent shaped gear had perished. The gear is bonded to a rubber mount that is driven by a shaft on the motor, so if it gets any excessive force, the metal and rubber joint just perishes and the winder will slip. Hard to explain, but if you remove the silver cap on the window reg with the cross shape on it, you can see exactly what is likely to fail.
