Afternoon people! I have a 90TT 2 seater coupe and like most cars her age the window seals, weather strips etc.. are showing their age. SO! I was wondering who people would recommend to buy a kit of seals from to re do them. Mainly just the weather strips up the side and bottom of the windows, but a whole kit would be fine too. Any ideas?

COZ as in USA? Concept Z? I went there and with shipping (which was $300 US!!!!) you were looking at about 800AUS for the lot delivered... am I confused? COZ? kuma Z? .... (i'm tired, been playing cricket all day..!)
Concept Z usa, sell kuma Z product ie) all the outside mouldings. I brought the full moulding kit, thats every moulding strip on the outside of the car Two seater. cost was 490au from memory, i can look for the invoice and and check the shipping, but im dam sure it wasnt 300. Speak to em on the phone, there easy to deal with.:thumbsup:
Post would cost between $160-180 U.S. Because Coz can't ship long or large packages to AUS, those have to go by freight.
I imagine there are A LOT of zeds out there which would benefit greatly from getting new seals (mine included). The price would have to be a whole lot better before I would be tempted to spend on it though. Hopefully a group buy could knock it down significantly.
What price did you have in mind? The Kuma Z kit (2x door and quater window molds) from memory is $218 U.S. I think that is a fair price. It's the freight that is the killer. As I posted above, freight for the molds would be between $160-180 U.S. If that was split 10 ways it wouldn't be a bad price at all :thumbsup:
I'm in for a group buy Mine have to be done, they're not in good shape. Have a 2+2, are they're australian kits available for auspec cars?
$300 landed would be nice for the two main window seals, but I'd prefer to get the whole kit! The rest is ok and could be rejuvenated but brand newies would be tops. We'd have to sort out 2 seater and 2+2 orders separately I'm guessing though... But if enough interest we can get it rolling. :thumbsup:
I'd be in for a group buy as well for sure! it's just a matter of getting enough people to split the frieght cost.

That is a good price, but... I was under the impression people were after this kit HERE. That's the one I'm after anyway.
How does this sound? Ok, window seals only, normally would be $529 AUD landed I can get them for $279 AUD landed if we can organise 10 people to buy it.. that's a fantastic price for this frankly. Interested??
window seals yeah 279 sounds pretty good, i would be after the window seals for 2+2, does this price include the 1/4 panel seals as well or just the doors?
