Hey, I've always loved the sleek lines of the Z whilst the skyline has always looked more like the falcodores ,being a bit more high and bulky and narrower. Just wondered why others went the Z route instead of the skyline?
Because... 1) They are "uncommon" (when compared to skylines etc etc) 2) Underated, no one has it and no one likes working on them (mechanic wise) 3) People say they are slow P.O.S Enough reason for me to get one
The Zed was designed to be a sports car / cruiser from the beginning and received awards as one of the best 10 cars for 5 years running in the US. It's impractical (which is a good thing), it has a glass roof, it's sexy (even after 17 years !). I know that there are a lot of fast skylines out there but get a magna, lower it, stick on a body kit and it's hard to tell them apart. Oh and the Zed is the only car that has ever got me sex. Believe me, if you saw me you'd know what a feat that is
the zed just looks nicer.... I dont mind skylines at all, but side by side, I will go a 300zx Z32 in the looks department everytime... Cheers
people that dont knwo abtout zeds guess they are a 2002 model... thats how good the looks are... there was a skyline cruise a few weeks ago in perth... 50 odd skylines turned up.... 16 zeds on a zed cruise. thats show how rare they are.. and the targa wins be oer every time aye... every design aspect of them.. the cocpit feel.. love it all.. .
How sexy is the z compared with a plain jane skyline.... I do however like the gtr32 , with the fat flares and rb26mmmmmmmmmm did i say rb26mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm , anyway its all about cost! look at what you get in a z,(sex on wheels,twin turbo,handling,did i say sex on wheels)all for 12k or so ..imo thats money well spent..
i seriously considered both cars before my decision but my reasons are as follows zed is rarer has more power than a gtst (excluding r34 gt-t of course,and gtrs) beter bang for you buck ie more kilowats per initial dollar spent beter looks imho targa roof not regarded as a hoons car as badly as a skyline is there are negatives though percieved unreliabilty parts availabilty and cost not as heavily supported in aftermarket parts
Well i looked at both cars before i brought the zed! One liner, a heavily modded 95 gtst was in contention, that is untill at the last minute i found my current ride. The car was stock except for 18'', the liner was "fast" real fast, but mate theres nothing that quite matches the zed for looks, it'ill get you laid also:zlove:
zeds are just attention seakers.... and i had a nice big set of P plates on mine for 9 months..... though you get alot of...look what daddy bought him comments.... worth it bit (100% my own hard work for the record by the way)
pff.. skyline is a jap version oif the falcadoore with a bolt on bodykit and some go fast bits.. zed was built as a sports car from the ground up.. bit like comparing a GT falcon to the ford GT really
well..... i currently have a NA R33 only with a body kit and believe it or not, chicks dig it, but hey could be just the dude driving it but i'm sure the Z does MUCH more.......it damn well better anyway i'm planning on trading it for a NA ZX simply coz i've always loved em, it kinda has that supercar lines and when in the cockpit it feels like a sports car, the R33 cockpit feels very similar to my parents' VT. oh and most importantly the T-top for summer i don't wanna go as far as getting a convertible but a sunroof just isn't enough so the targa top is perfect for me :zlove:

Skylines are a nice car We considered one when looking for our import. More room than the Zed, and more practical since we just started a family, but as mentioned b4, we wanted a sports car, so it was an easy choice. Besides, skylines are a bit like assholes, everyones got one :zlove: **ducks for cover, flame suit on**
