    yup been running one and never changed it before since ive owned the car....

    i do though have a series 2 ptu just sitting here for the day the series 1 dies...

    still running series 1,no problems at all,although i have relocated from the timing cover to under the nose
    1/ to protect it from going faulty :)
    2/ because it looks like absolute shit where it was mounted :vomit:
    But i will be buying 2 new series 2 models very soon :zlove: (and unlike kebab bob and erica,i wont leave them lying around somewhere :bash: or lose it :bash: ,ill actually fit them lol ) :D

    I killed my Series 1 with a dissconected earth on the plennum :eek: Got a series 2 from Caz, first thing I bought off her :rolleyes:

    you dam well know i have heaps of things ive got going on atm with the zed. but if it does fail i guess it will be pumpt up the number 1 on the list lol.... unless ur offering to come and do it for me :p :p

    S1 for me too. never had a problem. Looks like PTU issues are at a minimum. :D

    s2 better spark... cheap as and makes your car run better. why would you run on a s1 when you know that they have a 100% failure rate?

    Except for turbo's, exhaust, air filter, fuel injectors, fuel pressure regulator, brakes, wheels, tyres, suspension, front fascia, rear valance, interior trim, intercoolers, Intake piping, ecu, oil cooler, transmission cooler, crank pulley, flywheel, exhaust manifolds, speedometer, temperature gauge, camber arms, tension rods, traction rods, head lights, brake lights, stereo, yeah.....you know it.
