I will be getting a major job done by AMEC

so I'll let you know if I am happy with their service after it's done. Chewy recommended them to me.

Two places I can really recommend:

Daniel from D.J.Sivyer Mechanical. He has just done a HUGE job on my engine along with John Hill (performance engineering). Daniel is very well priced and does some good work. He used to work for John Hill Performance ENgineering, but now works next door to John (as his business has grown). He performs mechanical work on all imports for compliancing, but has just done a auto to manual conversion on my car as well as intercoolers, injectors, bigger turbos, radiators, etc. He is located on Timms Crt. Ph is 32902967...
Another guy is Tony Fasano. He is my normal mechanic a mobile mechanic that has previous experience in 24 hour racing. He knows my car (z32) really well and has a factory manaual (that's how I knew he was good). Also he fixed up a whole load of problems that Motsons cause me (don't EVER go there).
The only problem with Tony is he is EXTREMELY BUSY now. So you'll find it very hard to get something done in a reasonable timeframe. That said Daniel is just as switched on from D.J.Sivyer. Just mention you were reffered to by Jonathan Hirtler.
I met Daniel from a reference by a friend who had his Pulsar GTIR heads done.
I met Tony from a Performance Tyre centre (noticed they had a zed so asked them where they get their work done).BE VERY CAREFUL otherwise. Motsons cost me BIG time. never go back there again!!!

Just took my 300ZX in to Daniel to do a service and autotrans recondition, and from my first impression I am very comfortable that he knows what he is talking about, and that the pricing is reasonable.
