Don't need piping just the adapter from supercrap. Only need one 3a for an NA, I use one for my TT.

Well you need the right one :p I've seen them at supercheap, now you know what to look for. :D

3A is a huge advantage over the stock airbox you should feel a difference, I did in my na.

yer i have NA. i was wondering if it was worth getting my mate to make up a custom intake to take two pods. what do u reckon?

Nah not really, the 3A provides more airflow then what the NA VG30 can consume. :)

But you could still do it, just wont be any better then having one pod.

haha ok, how did u fit urs? just the lil adaptor? cost it seems a bit of a tight fit with the airflow meter in the middle.

when i replaced my stock airbox i got what ever adapter bracket that was the right size for the AFM, then with a permanant marker i marked out where the holse SHOULD be so it bolts on and then re-drilled them myself.

its a bit easier using a drill press but your average cordless should be enough.

Yeah its a tight fit, on my NA the oil cooler (mini radiator) :p was in the way, so I had to undo the bottom clamps and push it down to make the pod fit. Angle the pod down about 45deg helps as well.

Should probably reset your ECU after you change the filters because the 3A ownes the stock air box.

No only TT's came with engineoil coolers stock. Not sure about auto tranny coolers, is that what we're talking about?

I dont know it was an oil cooler so it might have been tranny oil. Does your's have one in that location or was mine moved? or just special.....

Run a single filter dude, switching to dual is alot more work than just installing the piping.

If your getting the adapter from supercheap you need the one for subaru's not nissans, its stupid but true ....

    red32 You talkin' to me?

The adaptor that comes with the UniFlow filter is actually listed as suitable for a Subaru WRX. That may help you find one.
