    where they are...

the boost is reading around 20 to 25 vac..

oil is right where it is mine sits there...

if you want to know what it is really sitting at get an aftermarket oil and boost/vac gauge.

Fairly common for the oil pressure sender unit to block up and

therefore you get zero or little reading on your oil pressure gauge. Search will give you a heap of posts on fixes.

I must be one of the lucky ones, my sender likes the oil I'm using and reads 2 at idle, and either just over or just under 4, depending on whether the engine is hot or cold.

Maybe someone else has the tech specs for working oil pressure.

i have my boost guage tapped in before the throttle bodies, so it sits at 0 it idle

oil sits at 2 it idle, 4 while cuising (once hot) double those figures for cold

There's an article somewhere on clearing your OPS

Basically the hole in the sender gets full of sludge etc, possible due to sitting next to your turbo and getting nice and warm...

A couple of people have drilled them out with mixed success. The basic idea is remove it (17mm cut down spanner), then insert a paperclip into the blocked hole to guage the depth (don't want to drill too deep and fuck the whole thing up), then use a 1.5mm drill bit to open up the hole again.

That said there's no guarantee it won't happen again, as I mentioned the main problem is the OPS proximity to the turbo. I don't know if it's possible to install an aftermarket guage that uses a pickup mounted elsewhere? Hopefully someone else can respond to that...
