....Ive seen quite a few threads over the years on tyres, so lets try a poll. If I dont have your tyre on the poll just let me know and I'll add it. Feel free to comment on good and bad tyres, and the conditions that you used them in. I'll go first, Im on Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tyres. Ive found them excellent in the dry, and the best tyre Ive had in the wet (tread still at %75 so far)
Yokohama V102's, 17 inch....... reasonable in the dry, not hard to light them up (try finding a tyre that a tt won't smoke) & pretty good in the wet because when you push them too far they don't just "let go", but drift slightly. Happy with them so far (only about 4k), but anything would be an improvement on the "evil" (& lethal) Falkens I had on the rear previously. I had Michelin pilots on the front & was fairly happy with them but they weren't worth the money.
I'm on the Toyo Proxes.......>> Excelent tyre. Especially since I cant get the Eagle F1 in my size, and unlike Chewy I'm not going to import them.
Pirelli P Zero Nero's Had Bridgestone Pontenza's before the Pirelli's and i'd have to say the Pirelli's win hands down
I have a set of those on the rear of my Zed  also need to get a pair for the front when I arrive back.
FALKEN ZE-326 just got them the other day and seem like a good tyre on the 500km round trip to Berri. For those interested, my old Silverstone FTZ lasted 26,000 klms. Very solid tyre for what very very cheap ones at the time ($160 a pop). Cheers
Me too. Had these on for about 6 months and am very happy with them. They were recommended as a good touring tyre, without being too pricey. Cheers Pete
