I need some help, I'm stuck and I don't know what to do.. hopefully the forum can help me. I have my flamin zed which every one knows.. See here if you dont (http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=296208&page=2) and I have just moved to Vic due to work. I also have a bub on the way so a 2 seater zed isnt going to help me to much.. We've also gone from 2 wages to one as my wife is unable to get a job being pregnent plus I don't want her working.. lol Question is:- Do I sell the zed as is? needs minor work to get it running, but I don't have any money or time to finish it. Or, Do I strip it and sell the parts, forged motor, built gear box, GT28R turbos etc.. I really do love the zed, I love zeds in general. I asked the wife that if we have a boy if we could call him "zed" but was told no, so were going with "zander" lol still starts with a z lol.. Does any one have any idea's of what I should do?
Is it neccessary to sell/part out...could you find the money elsewhere??? Lastly how much would this money really help you?
All depends man. Will you be financially comfortable to let it sit for awhile? Also parting out is very time consuming and may take longer than actually finishing it. matt
Put it in the shed and get a small 4WD for the wife and the bub. Then when you find you need a car to get to work, dig out the zed, fix it up and use that during the weeks. It's not worth much anyways, so no point selling it (tell the wife that, but sadly true)
Yeah we already have a 4x4 lol with bling lol as my daily.. we're looking at selling her car too a suzuki swift extreme.. Really need money at the moment due to loosing furniture in the floods while moving and the bills are stacking up lol.. Might have to part it out I think? Fully forged motor? Fully built gear box? GT28R turbo's? Rest of the car probably wouldn't be worth while.. Even if I sell the big ticket items to get back on my feet and keep the car in the garage? unti bub is grown up later on..
If you are in need of the money, then I would say yes sell your engine turbo's box... I'll take the turbo's
