What products would you like to see?

I have just met with the main man of Hybrid Development, who manufacture products such as the Hybrid Intercooler kits and EBC-X boost controllers.

A great new product that will be coming out in 2008 will be an engine management unit that will retail for around $600.

Aside from that, they are interested in hearing about other products that people would like to see, maybe a type of product that you have thought of before but nothing similar is currently available anywhere.

what do you guys reckon?

what about something simlar to a Greedy Infometer that is din size with plug in upgrades like a boost controler and traction control etc so it all fits neat and looks good with out bit an pieces ever where

that does sound pretty cool that way you wouldnt need pay one big price at once, you could add on as you go.

I am thinking it would be DIN size with the ability to plug in units to eventually fill the entire DIN panel, with a single display screen, but you can choose what you want to display.

what functions would be available?

- boost control
- turbo timer
- ECU sensors display
- traction control
- lap timer
- navigation
- g meter / power meter / quarter mile time
- what else??

yes I agree.

you could also optionally have secondary display screens mounted elsewhere within the cabin for some of the modules for quick reference rather than having to flick through the display modes.

How would you add on modules through those front inputs? Plug in RAM/ROM chips? Or wires?

What about some of these as well some may not be of interest to all but here are some more ideas

Oil pressure and water/oil temp inputs etc with buzzer/ remote led alarm that is programable for all inputs

Sounds good Pete, I'd be up for one. This looks like the kind of thing that you would have to make '000's of to get it at a reasonable price. Is this something that you want to develop or the Hybrid guys?

I would want the biggest brightest warning lights and super loud buzzers on this. If something is going wrong with my engine I want to be partially blinded and deafened please

Maybe some sort of HUD would be good too, defi make one, can't be that hard to copy
