What is this ECU layout?

I am aware of the ecu diagnostics procedure but when I pulled the wooden board back, the ecu and layout before me looked different to what I've seen online.

I looked at the side of the ECU and stuck a screw driver in the top hole where I would have thought the screw was that selects different modes but no screw was evident, I inserted the driver about an inch inside.

Can anyone tell me why my ECU looks different to the ones I've seen online and why there looks to be more components? I'm sure the answer will bring out the noob in me :)

I am looking to buy the data interface cable, are there any suggestions as to which one I should get?

    Thanks again.

Extra components on the left are the atcu (auto trans control unit on top) and ascd (auto speed control device below). Only early ecu's had a screw in them as far as I'm aware.

It probably looks a bit different to other zeds you've seen online if they were all left hand drive.
