what is a pivot ball for gearbox???

    Sounds like you're shopping for things you don't need... which I think 99% of zedders do! :cool:

    The throwout bearing withdrawl lever rests against the pivot allowing the throw out bearing to move up and down the inputshaft. If your pivot was broken, 99% of the time you wouldn't be able to disengage the clutch.

    It's a good idea to upgrade the pivot with a new HD one when upgrading clutch or pulling off the box for some reason (rear main job, etc).

    yeah having troubles with a 2month old JWT 700kg clamping force clutch in my N/A so i'm trying to elimate the things it could be...

    i think it has to do with the master cylinder but i have that reconditioned when the clutch went in. i'm experiencing a very weak clutch doesn't bit like my stock clutch. the other day the clutch pedal got stuck half way lots of smoke from the gear box just what u wanna see just mainly a weak clutch for wat it is got better use out of the stock standard one use to cherp in 2nd no its hard in first ..... i'm lost aye

    It's possible your master cylinder wasn't reconditioned properly. Personally I'd just buy a new master from Nissan and replace the reco'd one. It might be a little more expensive than reconditioning, but it's practically guaranteed to last another 15 years.

    If your pivot bolt is the wrong length, the throwout lever may not disengage properly. Your clutch will always be slipping and burn out pretty quickly.

    Thanks for all your help guys Alan(Ztoy) and I bled the clutch and a fair bit of air came out which was good thing and a bad thing good to see its nothing major clutch is working fine now thanks guys.
