What have you done to your Z in a cool unique way

Do hope we get to see a progressive-build series of pics on this, Gonzo... as a former national magazine editor/publisher, I would guess it wouldn't be too hard to get a (paid) article published on your build. Let me know if you need any help with the wording, etc. (I know your pics and ideas are just fine...)

I've changed to a cool ricey steering wheel...... and then changed it back

sub install by doing a fibreglass box moulded to the shape of the boot.

bmw side skirts moulded to suit the car.

 

In the last 5 months I've......

got personalised number plates :zlove:

mixed and matched a body kit
( skirts from one lot, front from another, rear valance from swapmeet, imported rear 2 piece wing from USA , rear infill from Gonzo )

Cut and shut the front spoiler
( to suit the FMIC and some 'personal touches', including front brake cooling ducting )

changed all the underbody airflows
( plastic shyte gone and sexy alloy now in place with better flows )

Preped the car for a full respray.... on going :bash:

set it up for a brazillian or winged rear
(cant decide which way to go so going with both !!! )

made several engine mods
( all legal of course )

added a 53mm radiator


Fitted a large auto trans cooler to suit the new underbody trays...... again magic result

upsized the FMIC and made better flowing pipes & covered em in insulation foam

changed the pod setup to a large twin pod setup that doesnt interfer with the airflow to the radiator or from the back of the FMIC......
( very proud of that major work of art )

added a better boost controler

mutilated the zorst system so it breathes but is still quiet

add larger rims and tyres to put all that lovely power down along with enginerable steps and spacers and extra long wheel studs to suit

Changed the brakes around a bit and added stainless lines so it "woahs as good as it goes "




Currently up to the final stages of priming it all for the new PURPLE coat of paint



& waiting for that PTU.......

I installed mesh intead of my fog lights last week. I did modify my reo bar to fit them and I had them in for a while, but i like it without them.

Not really unique, but the mesh I used was Instead of chicken wire stuff I used steel mesh with small holes, 1.5mm diameter holes.

Looks good I reckon.
