what fits in the clips

    under the dash on the passenger side kick panel there are two plastic type c clips look like they held somthing round about 40mm in dia.

    That is where the flare sits. Most are removed during compliancing, but I still got mine :D

    Held a flare in Japan. Part of road laws. Now you can use it to hold a small fire extinguisher.

    Used to hold

    A road side flare, to warn other motorists of potential danger.
    For use in Japan, not sure if their legal here.
    Got a couple of spares if you want one, definately pick up only, wont be able to post.:D

    Yes ,that small and u would comfortably put a fire out in the ashtray lol,i always wondered what those clips were for,cheers guys,si:zlove:

    I've seen fire extinguishers quite small. Don't actually know how big that bracket is, only know what it's for, but I've seen extinguishers about the size of a normal humans forearm (forearm free of penis-shrinking steroids :p).

    The bracket in my car is about a 50 cent piece round, no where near an arm width...

    Mine seems to be for inflicting pain on my feet when I jump in with bear feet or thongs:D

    to hold a torch...naff I know but hey...
