what fits in the clips

under the dash on the passenger side kick panel there are two plastic type c clips look like they held somthing round about 40mm in dia.

 

That is where the flare sits. Most are removed during compliancing, but I still got mine

 

Held a flare in Japan. Part of road laws. Now you can use it to hold a small fire extinguisher.

 

That would be an incrediably small fire extinguisher...

 

Used to hold

A road side flare, to warn other motorists of potential danger.
For use in Japan, not sure if their legal here.
Got a couple of spares if you want one, definately pick up only, wont be able to post.

I've seen fire extinguishers quite small. Don't actually know how big that bracket is, only know what it's for, but I've seen extinguishers about the size of a normal humans forearm (forearm free of penis-shrinking steroids ).

 

The bracket in my car is about a 50 cent piece round, no where near an arm width...
