This resistor in a box works on the same principle as a APEXI SFC does. Sucks the computer into thinking there is more air going throught the MAF than there is, causing the engine to lean out a bit. Its crude, it sort of works, but isnt optimized. I doubt you would notice a difference. Its pretty crap IMHO

Clean your throttle bodies, bump your timing up 2 degrees (using a timing light up to a max safe 17[sup]0[/sup] buffer), install boost jets and tighten your accelerator cable and you will "feel" much more than 15BHP... and it costs less than $2...
that's what the vl turbo guys used to do back in the 80's very cheap, could work if done properly if you think about it too. personally i would never touch anything like that. interesting thread on SAU SAU
