Funny thing happened today, I was looking for a spoiler for my zed, ended up liking the car at the yard so much, bought it whole(stat write off).

My current zed is 2+0 NA, Im going to use the spare for all required parts for the NA to TT conversion.
The one I bought is TT, Automatic, Targa Top.
Just wanted everyone's well wishes, it is going to be a long project.

    Couple of questions-:

    1) My NA Manual gearbox should be ok for the TT conversion yes?

    2) What else should I put on my wish list for the conversion?

3)Will the 2+2 differential fit on the 2+0?

4)Do I need to change the propeller shaft, or can I keep the NA one?

    5) What changes do I need to make to the engine bay?

    6) Are the engines mount same?

    Any other advice is welcome.

Eventually I will be selling the remaining parts of this zed, will keep you guys posted.

Thanks for the input guys, looks like I am keeping my diff, and using my driveshaft (manual).

Car should be in within the hour, so excited. :D

How long until you've got the auto box out? Possibly keen.

I would like to get it out asap, but it pretty much depends on how long it takes me to organize the funds and all the parts required for the conversion.

Your NA gearbox bell housing won't take the TT flywheel without modification.

When you get the gearbox out, have a look inside the bell housing and you will see a raised "lump". Get your grider out and get rid of the lump.

    Fixed.

Thanks for that. I was previosuly planning to get a new clutch but as i recently upgraded my clucth on the NA, it should be alright for the conversion.

NA clutch isnt the right diameter for TT flwheel :-(

Use the NA flywheel, as the TT is auto anyway, different fly :)
You also want to keep the power steering lines out of the TT body because they are different between NA and TT to allow the intercooler piping to fit through ;).

    Guys,
I need to make a big order of parts for the conversion, I'v compared prices with Z1 and CZP, both seem similiar. Any advice on which way to go?

Also, Im planning to keep my NA ecu and get it mapped to TT specs, as I'v read its easier to keep the wiring than to change everything, gets a little messy. This sound good?

Im looking for a bolt on upgrade for stock turbos, I am not going for too much power, just want a smooth conversion from NA first, any suggestions? and sources?
