Hahahahaha, just kidding. Went to the Potters Brewery for lunch with some friends today and my other half spots some bloke hanging around the zed. She goes to investigate and comes back with a card from under the windscreen wiper suggesting that as an owner of a Nissan 300zx I should log on & register for membership of the UK Z32 forum. Bloody hell I thought, that's taking membership enrolment to new heights. I wonder if Blipman/Wizard etc know that the poms have agents out trying to poach members from the Oz forum ?:LOL::LOL: Turns out the bloke was Gio (Mike), from the UK (you know, the member who booked his ticket from England to coincide with the Hunter Valley cruise only to have it changed because of Bathurst), anyway, it turns out he thought the place sounded so good he would include it in his itinerary. Wow, this was my first international zed cruise & it was such a privilege that I didn't have the heart to tell the pom that in all his eagerness to attend (with his other half) that he forgot to bring his zed (if in fact he really owns one anyway. kidding). Some of us Oz forum members will bring our zeds to England as soon as we can figure out how to run 110% antifreeze in our radiators. Anyway, we didn't get to talk long because his friends showed up and they had to leave. It's a pity we changed the cruise date because it's not often you get to chat face to face with a fellow member from the other side of the world. He seemed like a good bloke too, but what would I know ? (kidding again Mike) Cheers and enjoy what's left of your stay in Oz. Checked out the brewery to make sure everything was in order for the cruise (sampled some amber fluid, purely for quality control purposes) and had a feed before heading for a vineyard before the run home. A good day all round. Oh bye the way, as he was leaving Gio (Mike) said that any members of the forum heading for the UK should lob on his doorstep `cause he would be glad to put them up.
