I wear thongs when I'm dressing up well, in summer, and on the weekends, that is. Someone told me driving barefoot was illegal, but I'll just plead ignorance.
Shoot your pics in the late arvo Or early morn if you are keen. As the light is much softer. Will look mint if you shoot them in a softer light. But other wise, you car looks good, expect to see you on some cruises. And go the DTM exhaust :thumbsup: ..
Me too! I drive in barefeet as much as I can. I too get told frequently that it's illegal, but I've never been bothered to search Vicroads for any actual regulations...

Im not sure it is, or at least it varies state to state I remember someone on the aus.cars newsgroup emailed each state to clarify if it was illegal or not. Mostly not. Did a google search and got this : barefoot driving
They had something about it.....>> On Sunrise a few weeks back. That is where I got the fact that driving bare foot was illegal. Maybe they didn't research it fully?
It isnt illegal in Queensland I did my Driving test barefoot, and my little brother just got his licence - rocked up in thongs, and asked the tester if it was ok to do his test barefoot - no problems
My driving instructor told me it was illegal but got me to take my shoes off once so I could feel the difference. I'm more comfortable driving with shoes on.
Its illegal because..... if you are involved in an accident and there is alot of glass everywhere on the ground its to prevent you from causing more damage to you feet. Max:thumbsup:
