When i am in park and at op temp my idle seems to be the same as what it is when i have it in drive... I adjusted my TPS the other day to .44 cleared the self lean etc anyways held the rev's at 2,500rpm to watch my 02's seem to be fine and when it got back to idle my TPS was at .42 and was flicking to .44 i am guessing my TPS is not 100% i did adjust the idle via the idle screw but seem to just go back to the way it is... At times my idle will be where it should be when in park but its got me stumped to what is wrong... I will get a new boost leak test done to see if i got any leaks since changing the vac lines last year after fixing a boost leak near the left hand side turbo...
Check neutral switch operation on Datascan. Does wriggling the shifter in Park make any difference? Datascan reads in round numbers so .42 > .44v = .43v....
ok just checked the neutral switch via datascan and when in park or neutral its on other gears its off... also my TPS is reading .42 now hmm but when i goto adjust it later on it just goes back... Maybe i could give the connector abit of a clean and see how that goes? or renew it or something...
have you checked the base idle?? take the connector that does the IACV, and have a look at tacho should read 750rpm +/- 50rpm i bumped mine up to 800rpm put the connector back on and see then,
Yeah i am going to try the IACV and raise the rev's again and see if that helps... Will also try the T/B's again and go from there...
The CTS plug and sensor are about a year and a half old same with my 02's as well.. Yeah i will take a look at that list K Zed and see how i go will most likey go though all the plugs and give them a good clean see how that goes and do the T/B's as well...
