The hose that the unit its connected to is getting old and has a small half a cm split in it. The split is at the very end of the hose where it claps onto the radiator pipe and was fine on my car with no leaks etc, but just to be safe ----- Cutting your current hose and installing the Unit is a 5 min job and shouldn't be a problem.
