wat do i do plz help lol

hey guys, i have a big prob, my turbos stopped workin on me. ive checked all the obvious by checkin all hoses and lines checked the waste gate actuators checked the boost solinoid did a pressure test put a boroscope down the intake to check the impellors it all works just no boost is been produced. wat can i do or wat have i missed

 

lol, so they are mechanically fine and there are no leaks and the wastegates are working...I have no idea how it isn't then producing boost. You sure your boost gauge is working? haha

 

hehe good time 2 upgrade bro.. replace those 18 year old turbos

does it feel like its running ok or is it tunning rough and slower than usual,thats what id expect to see/feel with faulty turbos.....

If it's NA, dunno what impellors he was looking at with the boroscope haha

 

yea its runnin rough and heaps slower than usual. wen it would usually hit boost it dies down a bit

 

If you can access (funds for) a blazt cable and diagnostic software, see if the car is muttering anything under it's breath.

 

Check the pipes and clamps that connect up to the intercooler. One of my clamps came off once and same thing. You did the boost leak test from the air filter intake yeah?

i bloked the air inlet of took the intercoolers of and pressure tested it from there on both sides. i also pressure tested the intercoolers and they are fine to

 

you need to do that properly or the test will not work.....take of the air flow meter and put about 7 10 psi in it ,, and you should see were its leaking for ... if you are still having problems then try take the car in ,, and put it on a dyno ( not for power run ) but to check for leaks .

 

Here's a much easier way to do the test that doesn't involve removing the intercoolers and will show better results (and you only need to do it once, not twice as per two intercoolers). Also, it's often where the pipes clamp onto the intercoolers problems happen, and your way might not pick that up.

You were saying when you put ur foot down you lose power I have had this a few times. As mentioned above it could be safty boost but coz you say when you put your foot down you lose power I had this problem and it was after I ran the car on basicly no fuel (ALMOST RAN OUT CAR WENT JUMPY). Basicly I thought it might be crap in the fuel system say injectors/lines so i got pizzed off and booted it constently and hit the revlimter alot lol but it worked all this black s%$t came out my exhaust and then it worked fine untill I ran it low agin.

So I thought I wont get angry and thrash it I will get a injector flushing kit and a fuel filter NO PROBS SINCE. The injector cleaner was done by a mechanic cos some stuff had to be dissconected forgot what it was called but it was in the drivers foot well behind some trim pannel near the fuse box and basicly the car ran on injector clean and no fuel.
