Had a great time... Cheers for organsing Paul. ^_^ First things first, really sorry about what happened Andy. I'm just glad you're ok and the car isn't a write off. It could of been much much worse and I'm glad it wasn't. Well done Paul for being so helpful as well. Apart from that nasty event, the cruise itself was great. Although I missed u all on most of the O'brien section due to traffic lights, I had the company of a gorgeous co-pilot so all was not lost. ^_^ Great to meet yet again a new breed of Zedders...seems every cruise I go on there are more and more first timers...which is awesome. Always great to catch up with the usual suspects as well. Really glad the weather held up...turned out to be a nice day for driving. Unfortunately the batteries in my camera died...I have no pics to share! So I'm relying on all of you to post up your pics...and of course the vids. Cheers everyone...look foward to the next one! I had a good time today. Was good to give the ole girl a bit of a run on my favourite bit of WA road! Hard luck Andy, if you play with fire, you're occassionally gonna get burnt! I was thinking today that somebody may come off, but didn't say anything to anyone because I didn't want to jinx myself! Cars can be repaired and replaced, people can't. Good to hear that its only pride and emotion that got hurt and that you or your passenger physically didn't. I only saw a few pics on cameras today; come on people... post post post (Silly me forgot my camera *slaps forhead*
Fun section of road, but you guys should learn to give some space so that we don't get stone chipped to death!!! I tried, but had a boat skyline stuck in front of me ;P Wanted to test the suspension ;> The crash put a dampener on the rest of the cruise, but still finished up at the rivervale for a while so wasn't all bad. Andy, if there is ANYTHING us boys can do to help with your repairs just put the call out. You will probably need to get hold of a wreck, so post up and what you need and we can do the scout around for you. Cheers Rob
I had a good time in the end even with all the drama :/ Big thanks to everyone who showed up and who went along, good to see the usuals, and once again to meet some new faces, i swear every cruise there seems to be more new ppl to the club!, good stuff!! Obviously the lowlight of the event was the crash, sooooo sorry Andy, at least u walked away, could have been a LOT worse, shows how well u done to walk away from it really.... Big thanks to my co-pilot who took some nice footage, some crazy filming at times i tell ya.....haha Also good to catch up with the guys, esp Tim and Josh at the rivervale Bring on the next cruise guys (Hopefully the TT will be in then..*fingers crossed*) Mike

Good Cruise Guy's Thanks to Paul for organising another great criuse. Rapidly becoming the "Cruise Master" Paul (ha ha ha). It was good to catch up with you guy's again, as I have missed the last few cruises. Nice to meet some new guy's as well as some new gals! Should be some great video footage, Miksta and CRAZY Jess should have some interesting footage. It was good to catch up for a drink at the Rivervale with Miksta and the others who made it there. Sorry about your dramas Andy, but at least your okay. Cars can be fixed, but you managed to dodge a bullet today, and for that you have to count your LUCKY STARS *** Cheers Tim
Okay, Paul has finally recovered....what a day, can only imagine how andy is feeling right about now. Day started off great.....except for the lateness of Scotty. I do have to admit it was funny watching everyone lapping the carpark waiting for my okay to leave....didn't realise I had so much power! bwuahaha. First run to midland was great. Finally got some good cruising with some of the old crew, including some hilarious moments with franz and a coppa, and wait till you see the shot my housemate got of the camera hovering above franz's car whilst moving....brilliant! After leaving BP we ran into some HOT Hot Hot HOT chicks in a white soarer that were playing mirror games with us at the lights, let them pull up and got a pretty sexy smile as they pass....all on video of course! Where for art thou hot soarer chicks! (disclaimer......sorry erin! hehe) The start of o'brien was awesome. About 15km's in we come across the convoy pulled over where the road becomes Clenton rd. Thinking the cruise has simply become confused as to where to go, I pull to the front, only to notice andy's stranded zed 5 metres off the road in a ditch, on top of a tree and various massive rocks discovered after the tow truck arrived. Cue the drama of everyone rushing to investigate the problem. Both Andy and Malcolm were fine, however the initial shock of crashing the car had Andy understandably shaken. As a true zedder would, when asked how he was andy could only reply "what about my car"......would we expect any less! Electing to stay with andy and make sure the mess is cleaned up and everyone arrives home safely I throw the cruise reigns to ross who takes the convoy under his wing and directs the cruise. This is where my cruise story ends. I then went to find a tow truck which required multiple dashes up and down o'brien road and approximately 3 hours of waiting. After dropping Malcolm home I went to meet the final group at the rivervale for a much needed drink. Unfortunately everyone was that knackered we didn't hang around long.....just long enough to laugh at ross's dismisal attempt to throw the ass end out whilst leaving the pub....better luck next time champ! haha. Some pics: Nothing shines like a gunmetal zed in the rising morning sun! Mickey tries to earn some REZPECTT with a new front bar and gonzo-spec grill.....wheres the TT mate!?! Rob's Charisma is definitely up for most improved zed in WA....a magnificient specimen of a zed!! Can't forget his dish either.....mmmmm dish! After months of hype Ross finally brings the white beast along and officially joins the ranks of the WA Zedders....can't wait to see how this one progresses....PS. Love the interior!!! Unfortunaly ross didn't leave his house mate at home. It wouldn't be a cruise without a stupid pick of rob....now quick your whining and make me some dinner! Franz...are words really required! The group does its thing before getting the cruise started! R-RATING. DIVERT YOUR EYES NOW IT YOU FIND DAMAGED ZEDS OFFENSIVE!!!! Andy's car from the road...looks alright.....WRONG! The rear wheel......looks pretty damaged. Most likely axel and control arm damage. Rim seems fine though...phew! The front wheel......limited damage. Tyre and rim may actually survive. So that was the cruise guys. Hope everyone had a good time, with exception to andy and malcolm and I hope that this doesn't deter anyone from coming on another cruise. After 3 years of zed cruises this is the first incident of any kind that I have seen!
I think "Cruise Master of Disaster" is more fitting Tim. Great to see you guys today and we can always count on you showing at the rivervale!

I aim to please buddy!!! I don't know what was funnier, all of us cheering/laughing at ya....or the fact that it then made the rest of the pub pay attention to what was going on and thus watch you leave!
Firstly thank you Paul , Chris and everyone else who organised the day I and my son had a great day out once again, As to andy mate we r all behind you am really sorry for what has happen and if we can do anything just lets us know, a fallen zed is a make the team stick together............mean that mate.
