Well what a great day for some zed action! that's 2 weekends in a row now....just keeps getting better. After awaking about 20 minutes late and realising I'd missed the cruise I decide to message josh and ask him to swing past and drop off my sunnies and cruise up to scottys with me. Lo and Behold, he refuses. DAMMIT! so after taking literally 4 minutes to shower and get dressed and hammer down to the second meet point to meet the crew. Finally get to scotty's about 2 hours later than expected and everyone proceeds to....umm.....well there was talking and me and josh jacked up a car and then um...more talking and then I had a beer and then the sausages were ready (Mrs Vaughn you rock) and then we talked some more......Did anyone actually accomplish anything? haha Thanks again to scotty for hosting. That driveway hasn't gotten any better and your dogs are still crazy for fetching.... Had a great time mate! SOME PICS!!!! Kirst and Josh get working on her suspension change (I was helping but thought a beer and taking pics would be more fun)...PS....what is josh doing to that poor left guard...the face says it all Who the hell invited this guy? I don't know him! I swear! I'm putting the marble paintjob in the same category as josh's hair......nuff said. haha Our Gracious host shows himself.....and was ready for the wet t-shirt comp to begin! Brad decided to get some beauty sleep and rocks up a few hours later...but better late than never. PHATT is its usual beautiful self! Seriously! WHO IS THIS GUY!!! You try to take a nice pic...sheesh! MMmmm....Rob's beast. Still in my forum top 5! Now I know Shaq and I look hot together in person, but who would have guessed that our cars would too.....so cute! Now I can't remember what spikie was saying, but I think he was trying to tell me that this car chops everything else on the street....including his. Not surprising! What a great day! I had an absolute ball! I didn't get to meet and greet everyone today as time just flew by, so apologies for not being able to help out everyone! None the less, was good to catch up with some old faces... and new ones! Gotta do it more often! Hopefully i'll have a working Z soon! Big thanks to ZDUCTIV for letting me do some "quality inspection" on a certain hicas kit... And also a big thanks to Scottie for being such a great host! Also thanks to Andrew for helping me with the engine crane transportation. I didn't get to pull the engine out of the NA today.... A few other things to attend to... That's on the cards for Tuesday. Oh and Simmo... you should have been there mate! Did ya get the simmo-mobile working?
I seem to miss every tech day cos Im working at the AHG Driving Centre. Today, wasn't so bad, I got to belt the snot out of a black Egear Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder 4000kms old!! ner ner
yes awsome day!! thanks to scott for hosting (poor guy was running around on fast forward trying to help everyone out)! thanks to everyone for all the input and advice, i tried to take it all in but my head is still hurting! really nice to see everyones different styling, work etc, got some great ideas! and last but not least thanks tom for opening my eyes to the major rip off the 'mechanics' tried to pull, hope we can sort it out in our favour tomorrow!! definatly will be attending more events! will probably offer to host myself next time!!!
I'm pissed I met up with everyone at BP and joined the cruise .... then 'BL#$%Y WORK RANG' ..... ARRRRRRRRRR - damm mobiles .... I hate being on call ..... Was awesome to see so many Zeds and meet some nice people at BP .... Really looking forward to the next event ..... I was the last car on the cruise (before I had to bail) and all I could see was a long line of Zeds up ahead .... damm that was GREAT!

Great day once again love the photo Pauly haha, your so right about the comment, after a late night out get home rather late and had little sleep, awoke to ZDUCTIV and Curnz at my doorstep literally haha, so pretty much left immediately Got to the meetpoint and was surprised with the turnout, after getting a couple of calls from strangers asking "which oil do i buy" and "where are you guys, wait for me" type of phone calls we finally made our merry way to the middle of nowhere It must have been fate that this random named Brendon in a S15 rocked up to the BP servo, thinking this drift day was on and we were all crusing there together, turned out that he came to our tech day lol and better yet helped me with the interior in the car, big ups to everyone who helped me in particular, especially him and Shaq, definately wouldn't be good without ur guys help, looks 100% better than before Looking forward to the next WA event, being ummmmmm next weekend Mike

Great day Scotty, plenty going on and all I did all day was clean the leather and put in/take out one strut in Kirst's car Very enjoyable and relaxing I'll leave the Zed at home next time though, that driveway of yours has gotten quite a bit more torn up than last time and after all the cleaning and polishing I did the day before the new coat of dust wasn't needed. yea I was there with my Z.. the engine 'seems' to be running good, somehow the gearbox has got a bit noisy since putting it back together though so still got shit to do.. of course. bailed early cos I got a headache, I think I must be allergic to the sun. (happened last time too!) thanks to scotty for hosting again!
i might suggest that if scott is kind enough to hold tech days, if he does so in the future, we start a 'lets do something about that damn driveway' fund!!!
was a good day! I'll go early and leave after lunch i said.... I'm home! Great day...! Thanks for hosting Scotty and providing food and drinks... Really nice to meet up with everyone again...it's been a while and I'll have to start making more of an effort I know... Nice to meet Clara and her blue boy. Awesome Zed you have there. Really admire the work and effort you have put into it. It's quite unique and a real head turner. Anyway...I just got home...and it's midnight. Wow! What a long drive! Nah just kidding...it was a long drive from my house...but it helps when you have people who give you the right directions...not mentioning any names - Mikey. Hmmm, did I tell you? I didn't pack for Lancelin...it wasn't nice for you to send me there! I just used instinct on the way back...seemed to work a treat...lol Look forward to the next one...hope everyone had a great time and got what they wanted done. Seeya's all soon...! Great day, got 2/3 of what needed to be done. Damn those tricky hardpipes But they look bloody good And the intake sound that they make on boost Thanks heaps to scotty for all the help, and greatly appreciate you hosting the day. Many thanks to everyone that gave my mechanically clueless ass a hand. I now know how to do 4 things to a zed. All of them pre-school level easy However, we made one small mistake, when refitting the dash after fitting the guage rings, the trip counter re-set stick got caught under the dash! It is as bent over as a tranny in thailand ! And it is too damn late for me to take the whole dash apart all over again. And I dont have the right size screwdriver Pity I only noticed it 50km after I left the tech day. Not a ray of sunlight in the sky, & not a hardware store open for another 12hrs Oh well. looking forward to the next tech day. Hopefully I wont get as burnt next time. I am as red as mikstas Z! & i feel like porky pig, i've been roasted & have now basted myself twice in aloe vera cream. Anyone hungry? I'm sure that my shoulder are a nice medium rare
