Okie Dokie, figured I'd start the post event discussion this time round. Day started off with me and mickey standing lonesomely in the Captain Munchies carpark at exactly 10am wondering if we would be the only ones to show up. After 20 gut wrenching, sweat dripping, angonisingly long minutes, lysergic (kurt) finally shows with tara, brenton and damo following closely behind. With no others expected we decide to make hay while the sun shines and head off towards the promised land. I take the lead out of freo as no one seemed to be able to find the cafe strip located about 400 metres down the road....a smart bunch, I know. After the traffic heavy fun of the freo malls, we hit rockingham road and some good cruising fun begins with everyone having a good mix of leading, tailing and being stuck between the boat and the whale. The first stop of the day was the beach at rockingham, where we stopped for some coffee, some water and the strangest looking sandwich I think any of us had ever seen. After about 5 minutes back on the road my phone starts a ringing (with some funky kanye playing I might add) and it turns out to be the one and only DUB. Turns out PHATT was cruising the streets of perth trying to hunt down the cruise, and hunt us down it did. After 10 fun minutes of trying to find each other we finally spotted the black beast going one on one with the asphalt down mandurah road. So with all parties finally found and accounted for we started on the extremely busy approach into mandurah. After about 15 minutes of bumper to bumper action we arrived at Dotty's Beach, a superb location I must say where DUB, T-Shay and Mickey D himself took to the water. I believe tara had to save the both from their ulimate demise in the 1.5 metre deep water. haha. Whilst drying down in carpark (brad had to wear cotton underwear didn't he), some mandurah punks started to cause some damage to a local phone booth. Luckily DUB-MAN was on close call and contacted the authorities with a swifty call from his trusty mobile. Within 3 minutes the cops showed, chased down one of the kids and managed to completely pull him off his bike, quite a sight. With the beach fun over and our tummies a rumbling, we made for falcon and the Miama bakery for some good old pie eating action! With the sun still in the sky we decide to make one last dash back towards the city and end the day with some classic zed fun. Brad decided to also show me up at the lights, I don't know what he expected to happen, but guess what......he won! All in all a great group, a great route and absolutely great day. It was great to see some old faces and some new ones and i look foward to the next T-Shay event. Good Job Tara Paul
Damn you Paul You said everything already that i was going to say That wait at munchies felt like it went forever, i knew it'd be a first if the organiser of an event didn't show up, but i had faith Tara and u didn't let us down Cruising through the cappo strip was exciting for the public as usual, its amazing how many heads turn when a convoy of Z's, boats and whale's drive through :LOL: Traffic was crazy (as expected) come out of Freo, but once we hit the open roads it got crazy at times, had great fun, wondered why we stopped at the servo, then to my shock PHATT rocks up, it was Z heaven Beach was excellent, water was nice, and what about those idiots who decided to smash the phone booth, cops were down in a matter of minutes, was priceless seeing the copper run after the kid on his bike, chase him down, pull him off his bike, drag him to the side of the road, force him back to his car and handcuff him :LOL:, priceless!, i wish i got that on camera Hope that glass gets out of your foot tara And last but not least a MASSIVE thank you to Kurt and his missus for filming most of the event, have heaps of footage and should make a nice vid of the event in the near future Great day and enjoyed by all, looking forward to some of the pics Cheers Mike

Cheers Guys Thanks for coming out guys! It was perfect weather for a cruise and definitely a swim! It was awesome being in the lead for a bit and seeing all the hot zeds behind! *drool* We certainly left an impression along the way! I'm really looking forward to organising another one soon! *I have got the hang of the road map now!* :thumbsup: Cant wait to see the footage Mikesta! Yeah well worth the effort to track down you guys Cheers for the organising of it all T Shay, and Paul for his literary imbelishment and Miksta for pointing a camera at me causing all manner of havock and nice to meet Kurt and the missus (I'll admit I can't rememeber her name Miksta! ) Man that water was awesome! Just so crisp and totally refreshing,I'll remember to bring a towel next time. I got to say that pie had EVERYTHING in it, priceless!
