VIC MEMBERS.. BEACH CRUISE SUNDAY 20th MARCH :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

First of all I would like to thank everyone that showed up and an extra big thanks to the weather man for showing his bright side for once.

And this is how the day went!

This was the first club cruise that I had ever organized and was fearing that I would only get 5 members to rock up on the cruise. But happily enough this phobia soon perished.

Posting for everyone to meet at the first meet point (Corner Stud Rd and Wellington Rd, Stanford Hotel) at 9.45am, I turned up at 9.30am and there were already 8 Zed's there. This was great as I was confident that we would have a great turnout and that we did, throughout the day 25 Zed's showed up on the cruise! Good Work People :thumbsup:








This car was Sex_On_Wheels

Hanging around a few minutes longer waiting for a few late arrivals we left the Stanford Hotel with approximately 15 Zeds, heading off to the second meet point.





Arriving a few minutes late we landed to our second meet point (BP Servo, corner Thompsons Rd and Western Port Hwy). Here we met up with around another 10 Zeds, socialized a little bit; put a bit off juice, both in our cars and in our body's and headed off towards Dromana.




















After driving through some great roads in Summerville and a bit of freeway driving we arrived in Dromana filling up the car park almost completely. Here we re-grouped, socialized a bit more and ate some delicious ice cream (well atleast most of us thought so )

We then followed [THEZED] Geoff towards Sorrento for a photoshoot, we quickly regrouped at the Sorrento Pier (which this was my favorite part of the day, this was sick, FULLY SICK even Thorpy said so, (ha-ha-ha wanker, sorry) the whole main street of Sorrento fully packed with Zeds, Engines revving, intercoolers sucking, BOV swooshing, Subwoofers thumping, Horns honking, heads were turning everywhere looking at us with an expression of awwww on there face. So much attention even Anna Nicole Smith would have got jealous



And after my favorite part of the day this unfortunately is where things head down hill a little, there was a little bit of confusion and instead of the group heading to the beach for some photo's we somehow ended up at a football ground, although this luckily proved to be a pretty good place for some photos.










Clearing things up, Geoff and me headed down towards the next photoshoot location to try and negotiate with the ranger to let us in to take some photos. See there was a $4- entry fee and all we wanted to do was quickly take some photos and piss off, but unfortunately this Park ranger had a 9ft pole stuck up his ass and wouldn't budge!

Not too worry, off to Koonya Beach for some photos, this had a great view unfortunately almost impossible to capture with the zeds because of the car parks elevation and the drop in the background, but some nice photos anyway. Bit more chit chatter and Big Col pointed out a great idea and that was for us to head off to Arthurs seat (is that what its called and did I spell it right? :wacko: ) for some more photos. Unfortunately a hand full of members had to leave us and took there own route home while the rest of us went to our final destination.





What a great drive, didn't even know this place existed and the roads up on the way to Arthurs seat, absolutely brilliant, these were the windiest roads I have ever drove on in my life and proved how good the Zed really handles. Here once again we regrouped, socialized a bit more, took some more photos, sucked up to some cops and then finally headed off home!





Was a brilliant day with a total of 25 Zeds showing up throughout the day.
Once again BIG thanks to all the people that showed up, Geoff (TheZed) and (BigCol) Col for leading the group to certain locations, Trav (Mafi-Zed) for hosting almost all of the images and producing and editing a video of the cruise which should be up before the 26th March. Ryan for calling me and telling me there were cops at the bottom of the hill (told you guys there were going to hang out and wait for us :LOL: ) and anyone else that I may have forgot.

That would have to be one of the best days ive had in a long time, haha who was speeding down the hill? the two cops were bent over writing stuff down.. either they were queer or got someones plates down..

i wish i had more sunscreen i look like rudolf..
the pics turned out great and was nice putting faces to some names, untill next time

looked like an awesome day. I was thinking about the weather and the cruise all day.. Cant wait till my car is back to normal.... i've missed too many cruises..

I'm so crushed i couldn't make it.

Many thanks to Maciek (Chuubz) for finally getting his event up and running and such a great turn out. Well done Maciek and don't worry bout the "hiccup" there's always plenty to do with 20+ zeds in attendance. We could always have gne for more ice-cream.
Can't wait to see if the vid worked as some of those shots should be awesome.

LOL at Highway Patrol waiting at the bottom of the Arthur's Seat road for us. Our group cruised past them at a nice sedate 45-50kph.

 

Was good to put a face to the name, Herr Reichermeister!

Many thanks to Maciek for organising such a great cruise, Jen and I are both sorry we couldn't stay for all of it as it looks like the afternoon was even more fun then the morning. It was great to see so many new members and even a few old ones that haven't been around for a while (Hi Dayle). Having the zed out again after so much down time was great, and cruising with a large group makes me look forward to the next cruise and the drive to Goulburn.

Not just yet Ngoc, i gotta go to Mafi-Zeds house and put it on comp.

all throughout the day i got around 45MIN of footage, only around 5 solid min of footage thats worthy of showing so me and mafi-zed (trav) are gonna make like a 5min vid and post it up soon... im going to his house tommorow night so yehh... shouldnt be too long!
