[VIC] EOI: Tech Day before GOR cruise April 12th

Hi guys just throwing this out there for you all to mull over. If somebody in the city would like to host a small tech day before the Great Ocean Road cruise on April 13th (so tech on the Sat 12th), then i'd be all up for it. Would like somebody to help with my O2 sensors, and would be good to get a few of the experts to help go over everybodys cars n make sure everythings ship shape for the Sunday. I'd be happy to bring a few sausages along if needed.

GOR Cruise?

Great Ocean Road cruise!? I will be there for that. Can't find anything else about it though, but I will come for it, I would come to the tech day, but I live in Geelong, and don't know the VG engines as good as the others here .

I'll come if it's a saturday. Also need my O2's done (again :bash: ). I can bring my Consult cable, laptop and boost leak tester for anyone that needs that done.

 

This seems to be a regular event at tech days, maybe we should schedule an anual 'Sandeep's O2 replacement tech day'

 

haha yeah... pretty unlucky that they only lasted 4 months... definately going for NGK's this time.

damn u guys are always organising something on a day im working or djing that night, so i cant come. ill be there for the GOR as il.; see that date free. Hate having to work weekends all the time.

 

ill come to this, i wouldn't mind changing my o2's aswell

 

NGK's are great, beeen in mine for nearly 4 years now and they are sweet

 

I was talking to Col the other day about the possibility of organising something like this. As its an early start on sunday, I was thinking we could have a detailing day/minor mechanical work day on the 12th so we are all prepped for the big day

The main problem is where? If someone is able to host, I'll definitely be there

 

im up for it too....i wouldnt mind hosting and i would get some big umbrella shade thingys, watever they're called...but its up to you guys...there is plenty of parking near my place and can be done easily...just have to know in advanced...cheers

Well since I'm from Bendigo I'm not up for it ...Hoping that there will be me and a couple of other Bendigo zedders heading down to meet you guys at the GOR

 

no non turbo. I can pretend to some extent that i HAVE a TT though due to a few tiny rust holes in my exhaust TSSSS as i step on the accelerator ah dear

i can't host but i'll be very happy to attend. Can bring my garage jack if necessary and jack stands. Also torque wrench, socket set whatever. And some food (i'm bunking at my sis' place the night before so i can leave it there. thought a tech day/detailing day would be wicked on Sat...also good to get to know everyone a bit first).

 

ey if everyone is happy i can host the tech day no worries...just have to know...if anyone wants my address you can pm me or sandeep and get the address to my place if you dont already have it..cheers
