    Don't forget my Z is driven on the road too and to do that comfortably without spinning wheels it is set on the lowest boost map, keeping in mind that max boost is only 15psi. Other than the custom plenum the VG is all stock except for Tomei Poncams which are really only enhanced stock cams.

    The requirement was for a engine delivering big torque from 4 to 7000rpm and this it does but it still hauls well below 4000. This I believe is mostly due to the GTX3582R turbo. With a turbo engine the turbo is everything, other things which are important with a NA engine really are very much secondary with a turbo donk.

    It's a brilliant motor, good enough to put the Z into the top 5% non AWD cars on most street sprint days at Lakeside. Yet at low boost it delivers way more performance around town or on the open road than can be used, without even trying.
