Hi Guys, Calling on some experience regarding a list of things which should/need to be bought to have a good safe engine. As in, Im getting a replacement block, and will be looking to have heads checked and if ok, bolt straight on. What I want to know is which parts, while the engine is apart, need to be replaced, like head bolts and which ones? Thanks guys Adam
For a good, safe rebuild you should replace.... EVERYTHING A few extra $$'s now will save a motza in the longrun
Full engine gasket and seal kit 100thou km service kit heads checked and valves etc replaced where applicable NEW OEM or aftermarket head bolts new bearings all round do plenum hose bypass also
