As you know i have a vg30det engine from a cima. Because its a rare engine and there aren't many infos on these engines i ll post some pics for the inlet-injector system. Well the injectors are for sure the most comlicated injectors i have ever seen. For sure the injectors are low impentance and they are smaller from the vg30dett ones. I believe that they must be 280cc but not sure. The strange with them is that they dont have removable fuel rails, everything is fixed and you can just seperate them to each bank. It's like the z31 vg30et injectors-fuel rail. The other strange is that there is not just a fuel rail that at one and it's connected to the fpr and the other to pump. There are 2 seperate lines, one feeds the injectors with fuel and one line returns the fuel to the fpr. Too much complicated. The injectors have 2 niples. One for feeding and one for returning. They are side feed and they have returns from the top. There is not a single chance to find a replace or an upgrade injector for these rails. Have you ever seen these injectors again?
Glad nissan sorted themselves out before the rail design for the VG30DETT. Can you throw up a pic of the lower plenum so I can see how they fit in? Because I'm going to suggest making a custom rail for top feeds, but I need to see how they sit before I actually suggest it.
i can confirm that they are the same injectors fitted to some z31's they can be replaced using the alterantive design injectors from the z31's which are top feed, you will need to source a top feed z31 rail (adelaide z cars helped me out) and new injectors to suit....good luck its a shit fight getting the injectors, and i can almost gaurantee you wont find those twin feed ones anywhere
You are in my mind. I have a vg30et top feed fuel rail and the injectors i have is the bosch 420cc bought for a z31 300zx. I 'll try the z31 fuel rail today and if it doesn't fit i ll use just the upper line of the excisting rail
Finaly i upgrade them very easy just using the top line of the fuel rail. You will use top feed injectors. Mine was for a z31 and they fitted very nice.
Bpavo file wpea douleia You must be the fastest dude in Greece with that setup Were you actually born in Greece or migrated with parents from Australia or Canada or the US of function A??? Peter
They can be replaced with any Bosch Hosetail type injector. Its just that not many topfed hosetails are available now apart from some very large ones. Bosch 007/024/027/036 are all 400 (odd) cc injectors (440cc @ 100%) and can be had cheaply fromm the VL/RB30 brigade but are very old clobber now. However, with a little chicanery, just about any topfeed injector with a Bosch style Type 5 mounting can be used. To retain the stock rail, just have the injector top feed barb machined to resemble a hosetail and away you go. Choice is almost limitless then. RB26 440cc injectors would be my choice. Plenty around at about 250 per set. Or use 10mm hose clamped to the stock O-ring barb and 6 x 10 mm one piece brass Tees for a real ugly but effective ghetto style rail! No need for funky OEM/aftermarket stuff! L8r E
