Gonzo, would you be able to graft on the vent that I currently have on my zed to an OEM panel? The corners of mine are really bad and I don't think it would be worth the effort to continue trying to fix it, so maybe you could and make a new mould of it? I believe it is a Garage Impul one from what I have been told.

soften up those urges for the big day tomorrow gonz .. !!! .. you may have to perform, bringing into play that legendary lower nose ....

 

very very interested in the last option, with the 2 angled vents, only recently bought my zed so im new to this, guide me through what i need to do to get one of these, cheers

Noses are looking top notch so far! :zlove:

For those of you who have installed one, is driving in severely wet weather a bit of a nuisance?

I suppose the most likely victim would be the airfilters. How tough is the rain on stock filters or the Apexi P.I. ?

 

Ive had no problem so far

And I offen change my nose from one style to another
Please dont call my car the Micheal Jaskson car

And my water temp is always 60-65 and my PTU sits behind the nose vent so I know it keeping cool.
And the air pod sit forward of the vents so that any water getting through dosnt even run on to it.

 

like gonz, the nose from the deep south, i have

several of his nose panels and change them over from time to time .. have never had an issue with water penetration ... i do however take a bit of special care when washing down the front of black bess ....

gonzo mate, water temp 60 to 65 thats way 2 cold.. are you running a thermostat mate? optimum temp is around 79 to 84 running temp, anything lower than that you will chew fuel

I seen one when I changed over the engine covers lol
Well the stock gauge sits half way and most times the after market gauge sits at about 70
rolling down hills 60-65
hot days 80.

Oh, and the coulor - stock 89 black. BTW, would you be able to tell me what the paint code for that coulor is? As it will help when I take my sideskirts to get painted.

Thats a tricky one to make from scratch I would need one to mould from.

So now Im taking donations for one of these to make a mould from
any one !!!!
