Vented Fibreglass Guards

Does anyone have these guards (Fibreglass)

What the general consensus on these..

Good, Bad, Ugly, Legal ?

 

I have them but they aren't on the car yet ... initial thoughts are that they don't line up wonderfully compared to a factory metal item.

 

ugly imo,just another thing to destroy the already nice lines of the zed

 

Ugly ish I reckon fill in the fish gilles and they would be okay.

Aftermarket gear rarely fits well as most places skimp on the moulds and cast an OEM part. The reproduced parts will be off by sometimes as little as a few mm to often much larger amounts and requires a bit of prep work to get it all right.

 

Well Lound'n'Proud has them. Enough said...

 

and to top it off they are green lol

 

Kinda ugly, too many holes. I like vented panels, but not like this.

 

I don't have them and haven't ever seen them in the flesh so I can't comment on fit or anything but I've always liked the look of them in photos.

 

i reckon they will look ok, if u take away the crap on the top - i dont mind the sides

 

same here, .. don't mind the lower vents ... but the

top vents are el yukko .... !!!! ..imho....

 

The top one is just a bad angle honest ...

that looks alright, you should paint the rest of your Z white to suit.

 

I've been thinking about getting these for ages, they look good to me but I don't like the thought of FG parts - Each to their own but I'd go for plastic or aluminium one if I could find them. Never had anything to do with CF so I'm not sure if they are good or bad long term.

I like them. And if you ducted your SMIC properely the fish gills up top could be the exit point. BUT are they legal?

 

Zedipated will have them in a few months

I luv the look of them so I will be getting them very soon but the fish gills I will probably be getting rid of not sure yet. After seeing Clara'"s the other week , i have to get a set .

They have Potential though.

I'd be reworking the size of the slots, maybe make the final opening a little bigger and put some bolder looking mesh behind them.

 

yep,exactly what we were saying earlier in the thread like most others,i reckon the shark gills dont suit the car
