Shipping will be expensive yes but I will help out where I can. When we did the front bars I packaged the WA ones myself and then sent them via busfreight. I don't mind doing the same again so we'll see how we go

    Freight & Other details

Hi guys just checking some freight prices... UAS list $50 for syndey metro and $110 for AUS wide which would probably come waaaaaay down if a couple of WA ones could all go to the one address... so all is not lost! I'll get some prices from bus freight, still waiting on a price from the manufacturer but john is chasing so will be in ASAP.

This is the style I want on my car, for my money looks heaps tougher than the regular vented style. There's a car for sale at UAS with one of these hoods that I reckon looks pretty good...

Anyway will get the details ASAP and put them up in GB forum

More freight info -WA guys I reckon I can get the hoods freighted on busfreight for about $63, plus another $8 if you wanted it delivered to your door (otherwise collect from nearest depo). Realistically it would probably cost another $30ish to pack as there's alot of surface area and I reckon you'd want at least 3 leayers of bubblewrap. But either way it's under $100 so I guess it just depends what UAS courier could do for all hoods to the one address and then work out what's cheaper.

Anyway just putting the info out there, let you know how I go with the hoods

    Looks tough!

Yeah makes sense, 1 address for us WA people....

Is there any chance it can come in a carbon fibre finish?

Thats the exact one i want btw, also also when would you be requiring the money as i need little while to save up for this, obviously when u know these details it'll be in the GB section

Hopefully there will be some interest in this

    Cheers

I hope so too! I've been wanting to get one of these for a while (the BEST looking hood IMHO), never seen any interest on the forum until now (benny_c was looking at them too) so hadn't thought about GB before...

Dunno about timeframe, all depends on price for me too! When it goes ahead it'll probably be a month or close to in which to pay a deposit and then balance when they're ready. So hopefully the timing will work out for enough people!

    More info

Group buy price would be $550/unit for five or more units, or $520/unit if we can get ten or more buyers.

Still working on WA shipping, will put all details in GB forum ASAP
