What are peoples thoughts on that wild veilside c2 bodykit? How much do ya reckon that would be all up painted and fitted? Also a young member on this forum recently pointed out that I have no green compliance thingy plate where it should be.Is this a problem? I bought this car from k s and sons.should they have sold it to me without this plate?any info would be greatly appreciated. Sorry about the "two subjects in one"thing.Cheers.
i think the green plates were under the old scheme, if it's complied and registered then dont worry about it (contact them if you really are worried), if you like the c2 kit buy it we dont care what ya do with your own car mate... fitted and painted your looking at about 1200 or so.. depending where you go
compliance plate Compliance plate NOT required if Z imported and complied and registered under the OLD 15 year rule, so if it is a 89 or 90, you are probably fine. AND if it is registered then you SHOULD be fine anyway. HOWEVER if it is a 91-99 you perhaps should go back to the dealers and ask for compliance documentation [ which they may or may not have] cheers
yeah go for it the C2 kit is great I was going to get one when I respray my Zed but I couldn't find it in Sydney and Canberra that's y I bought a Bomex style anyway good luck and have fun with ur ride.
C2 bumper how are you going. I do have a few C2 veilside (copy of course) front bumpers for sale. I had them imported, they wouldn't supply less than 6 at a time, so i've got some spares. would sell for $400 or i have one with slight damage and sell for $275 i'm in perth, vic park. 0417 146 142 regards. -fauzer.
im organizing a group buy for 3 styles of body kits and the C2 is one of them. http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=256711 the full kit is $800, fitting and painting is extra but is only for cars in sydney... you would have to find sum1 in perth to fit and paint.
how much... on average would one pay to do the following at an average body shop (assuming they do all the work, no prep done yourself) - not including cost of bodykit parts Brazilian (removal of rear '89 spoiler, fill, paint hatch) Fit and paint front bar Fit and paint sideskirts Fit and paint rear bar painted in standard ZX silver.
