What would be the best way to get these to fit a zed? I'm thinking these and a bonnet bulge, would look sexy. If I made a fiberglass copy of the 'vent', how could I go about fixing the glass to the fender? Also what do you all think it would look like? I think id like it. Gazza
There is a member on here who has done exactly that on a silver zed, looked quite good..not sure who though.

Can you get the whole VE fender or just the sidemarker itself? Cause you could just cut a section out and glass it on the zed fender. Also by bulge, do you mean the VE Walkinshaw bulge?
God no!!! That walky bulge is vomit, I mean the ford bulge (maybe). I haven't looked too far into it, I'm sure you could get the sidemarkers alone. Thanks Andy I'll check it out.

Hahaha, I feel like a huge jerk now , but I've always hated the walky bulge, i do actually look forward to seeing it finished though, has anyone done it before? How hard was it to glass to the bonnet? I'm going to have a catch up on your thread now..
LOL Nah it's not getting much positive feedback from anyone... I've never seen another zed with it before, although Chrispy says someone down in QLD has done a similar one before the VE even came out. I cut the bonnet in the middle so that the bulge sits flush in (as the zed bonnet has a different contour to the VE bonnet), and Sikaflexed it in place. Then I added some fibreglass to the outside on the edges for extra support, not that it needed it... then used filler to smooth it into the bonnet... It's messy though, I'm gonna give it to Vizard to fix up...
Yeah if I'm honest, I cant really see it working too well, BUT, it would be original, I think if it wasn't so high it could look alright. I think I'll try to find a pair of the side markers though, I'm sold on them.
Looks out of place. You can tell straight away that it has been bastardised with parts from other cars, IMO. Stick to the clear Nismo side markers I reckon!
