VALVE TYPE BOOST CONTROL,HOW DO I CONNECT?

    I got hold of a boost tap but do you need two of them,like one for each turbo or can i tee the hoses together.?:confused:

    Nope, just 1 will do. But you need to plumb that into a "T" piece that runs to both turbo actuator lines using equal length hoses.

    Search the TECH section for boost controller and it will show more info in connecting these.

    Yep, just tee them together. Be very careful of these tap style controllers(they have a habit of "spiking" frequently).

    They only spike if you have the stock restrictors and safety solenoids in place. Remove these and I've found they don't spike at all. The bleed a little boost once you start using them for 14psi and up, but I never saw a spike.

    It's a reasonable bet, that someone who doesn't know whether they can tee a single controller onto the turbo's, will also not know about removing the restrictors and solenoids(which is why I suggested caution).

    Yep you're right,where are these restrictors & solonoids?Is that the turbo actuator solonoids?:D
