Vac Leak Repair

    Ok guy's n gals, Im still working through Vac leaks and have on here,(See Pic) how do I repair / fix this one...

    Any suggestions..

    Surely someone knows how to fix this one..:confused:

    You wont be having a vac leak from there. Its the PCV pickup hard pipe for the intake cam cover. That hard pipe is just pushed in albeit a pretty tight fit.

    Im doing a leak test and air is comming out from there...

    So I dont need to worry about it then ?

    Nope. Consider this, if that pipe was vac related your car would feel rather sick if you took your oil cap off while the engine was running. You will find that air will come out of your dipstick tube as well if you use too much pressure.

    Been a lot on my opinion about boost leak tests and the way everybody does it wrong with the potential to damage engine seals etc search Baron , Sweetchuck, boost leak tester
