you'd need to work out the formula properly, but i think a F.I 4.5 might be right on the limit for the vehicle weight
It's pretty much dead on... You would be better off using a VH41 with the 45 internals and no one would be the wiser
getting back to the original topic, the last oem rebuild we did cost the customer $7700, which is well under $13,000 for a new motor. half cut motors are really getting scarce now.
gotta love vvt the engine is also lighter than a vg30dett by some around 30kg (vg30dett is around 260-270kg, where as vh45de is around 230kg they make peak torque at around 4500 it was designed as a smooth motor but the internals as strong if not stronger than a vg30dett even being an aluminium bloc the vh45de is a sweet motor
thanks everone, It would seem the general idea is stick with the VG, to finish the rebuild of mky current engine i need to have the heads done, (My brother in law diceded to tell me after we had put them back on there was a .8 MM gap on the Off side head. if anyone knows who can do the ful rebuild and reinstall that would be great. I have not driven my Z since March and i miss it. Once again thaks for the ideas.
