Urgent help needed, a friends Zeds getting recked

OMG its such a tragedy some one I know imported a 300zx form the UK and it was done wrong (not aproved for import) so now its going in to the crusher don?t know when but soon

Now my question is: dose anyone know of a way that I can get the car for parts befor it gets crushed?? (don?t want it for road use just parts)

 

Forget it buddy. The Customs Dept do not muck about when they decide a vehicle is going to the crusher. They even send a Customs Officer to witness that the vehicle is crushed. Might be easier to get a suitcase full of seized drugs.

 

they can crush it i don?t care i just want some bits off it first mainly the transmission (from the gearbox to the wheels) then they can crush it

 

You don't get it, do you?
This vehicle has been assessed as having been brought into Australia illegaly, and therefore, will be crushed(Not broken down into useful spare parts, and the remainder sent to the crusher). No-one is supposed to profit from illegal importing of goods. :zlove:

yeh mate, i wouldn't bother, customs are pretty black and white with this sort of stuff. contact Cresta if you need parts, cos that Zed is a goner

Yea im over it now its crushed

He is so gutted it was his car in the UK and loved it and treasured it. He was looking forward to driving around with the top down (rag top) in the ausy summer after having little chance to drive with the roof down in the uk but now its 12inchs thick

amiss here, in terms of import clearance .. please explain the background... something unusual, indeed, momma ...!!!!

for example, angrybear imported his uk based zed some 12 months back .. and his was not crunched, hassled maybe, crunched .. nope ...????? ... please tell more ..???

 

And it was a convertible aswel, such a pity
