I need to replace both front and rear subframes on my 2+2 TT ... I have access to a NA 2+2 for the parts... I need to know the differances..

I understand of course Diff Center and Hicas are differant as the other is also an auto i am manual.

Main question is can i just drop and refit but changeover my diff center ... also wish to disable hicas anyway so the correct way of doing this with the NA rear subframe??

I'm not sure if this really made sence i hope so ..

I had a encounter with a gutter and damaged mine i have a very small window of opportunity to get these other subframes so a speedy answer would be greatly appreaciated ..

Front is interchangable no issues ...

Rear most likely only differance may be where the toe arm joins ... so poss look at adjustable camber arms instead ,...

Also poss diff mountings could be differant due to size of diff ??? can anyone else confirm please

    Re: Bump

Do you mean the engine cross member at the front?

If you do you have to weld a plate onto the NA cross member to hold up the engine oil cooler pipes.

I did that when i replaced my cross member. Cut the plate off the buggered TT member and rewelded it onto the NA one.

According to JP @UAS.. NA Diff won't fit on a TT subframe and vice versa.

In view of this, repairs to RHS maybe cheaper option

You have email from C >>>

Better ring and do a deal for front suspension complete with subframe & steering rack asap as I helped strip the wreck today & they want it GONE by weekend.

Anyone on Gold Coast wanting the balance: a 2+2 NA shell complete with rear subframe/diff/suspension may pick it up for a song ~ cost of tow truck.
