Upgrade manual s1 air con control to climate control

Hi anyone done an upgrade from manual s1 aircon control to later model climate control with digital readout etc ? What else is required to complete conversion apart from pod control ? Thanks

 

off top of my head....

you would require the computer and all the cabin sensors tucked away in behind the dash and roof, along with associated wiring looms etc.... I would imagine it would be a big big job, if at all possible...

but stranger things have happened so who knows....

 

i beleive kabir completed this conversion just recently........

 

he did climate control s1 to s2 not manual to climate

 

It is not that difficult if the dash is out. Check tech section and it is very straight forward if someone can get all the bits from a wreck including computer and POD. Beacuse there are so many wrecking going on it would be damn cheap to do so. Then if all works OK swap the computer and POD from S2 later. I have noticed Jspec heater core and aussie spec heater core is different. However computer plugs are same.
