    Stupid question time again

    Before I barge ahead and put my hand up for an order for a pair of 14805/14807 mufflers, would the following be really retarded?

    (turbo) Dumps (3") -> (3") Cats (3") -> (3") X-pipe (3") -> (2.5" (flanged)) muffler (tips)
    or something like that.

    I have been looking a Magnaflow Race Series Mufflers for a true 3" solution but there is apart of me that is vain as hell wants a quad tip exhaust system :D

    Otherwise rob260: How should I add an order for the mufflers onto my existing order for the X-pipe? Should I send you another transfer of 50% for the mufflers or pay in full?

    - Racing Cats 2.5" stainless steel ($490 for both) - $245
    - 14805 mufflers ($580 for both) - $290
    - Shipping ($100) - $50

    TOTAL = $810 for 50% deposit, already deposited $225, so will deposit the remaining $585 in a minute

    Dude you're best bet (ie cheapest) is 3" dump/front pipe combo, then reducers to 2.5" cat back system. Worked for Shifter's car at 401rwkw and I think specialtyz have posted dynos on twinturbo.net showing there is minimal gain in 3" cat back compared to 2.5".

    As above dude, power wise I don't think your car will ever know the difference, and it will be noiser with the race series mufflers. Up to you mate.

    Yeah that's it, just send me the remaining deposit when you have made up your mind.

    Well the last group buy was 2007 and group buy price was $356 for mild, so website price would have been around $380.

    I remember when a 600ml coke was $1.80, a big mac meal cost $4.95, and I remember buying my first case of beer for $28... :D

    Lol Yeah i know, I'm not complaining. I bought one of these for full price 2 weeks before this GB started ;). Just saying that I do recall $325 being on the website a while ago, I doubt we were both dreaming it up.:confused:
