Congrats to Shifter who won a trophie and a Filter Mag, Motul Cap and Lanyard, for the highest rwkw for stock turbo's 261kw at 15 psi. Very close behind was 2turbotwicefun 258kw although could not repeat this on subsequent runs as we were retuning his Super AFC after exhaust change and the corner mount ARC intercoolers could not keep temps down. Still it makes great power. Highest zed with moded turbo's was Wizard with 234kw 14psi and I am sure there is lots more in this bling machine. Ron scored a trophy a Motul cap and lanyard and bottle of Uniglide. The highest kw for NA zed was James I can't remember the forum name. 122kw trophy and same prizes as Ron. Finished off putting the slot car on in safe race tune and 21psi 330rwkw and repeated this 4 times. It was a great day, and I might be zed biased but I think it was the best dyno day we have done. It was great to have the local gang together with Uncle Lloyd Chili cruise director doing the usual entertaining. I bet Ron was happy to beat you power wise Lloyd but suspect AFM faulty in your beast. Also Ben from HPI was there also doing photo shoot.
Great Day John, Thankyou. Dissapointed my Zed wasn't ready for a run as I am very curious.Last time she was on your Dyno was 2 weeks after I bought her to try to diagnose a problem.Even without my car it was a fun day watching everyone 'stress' as their baby was pushed to the limit. Sorry to Grant for the sore shoulder, it was just so exciting to see your Zed climb so high! without water spray or anything. Top day.
Happy with my first ever, dyno results i got a 173.8 on standard boost for $12,000 on the road im pretty stoked ya cant even buy a new hundi for that kind of money. :zlove::thumbsup:
Great day John BBQ and drinks provided, nice prizes, good company, lots of Zeds,Lots of horsepower, another trophy for the shelf, does that make me a dyno queen, lol. Be interested to see what sort of a write up Ben from HPI gives us, he was fixated with Shifters and that other red Zed, he took a load of pics of them. Bit more left in the bling Machine yet, was running fairly conservative settings, and still needs some more tweaking yet. No need to beat up on Chili, theres plenty of others doing that at the moment. When's the next one?
Some pics inside. I am getting more loaded but these are the only ones at the moment, I guess it was kinda the star of the show though. I will get the others over to you Lloyd to host unless anyone one else can do this?
Good Day Out... Unfortunately all of my pictures came out burry as I was snapping and filming all day! The film is primative and can't be put on to computer.. I think, I'll try and find a way. Thanks for putting on the day John.
Looks like a good day  Would like to run mine oneday. It's funny how the stock turbo's beat the modded though. (if i'm reading it correctly...) Cheers
yeah, both Shifter's and Mine beat say... Chili and Wizard... BUT, Chili seems to have a few problems with A:F ratios and Wizard's new motor was only on 12psi if I'm not mistaken, which also needs more of a tune... Expect big numbers when both are sorted!... I'm sure they will post when they decimate our cars:LOL:
We will post well before that event, in fact we > were thinking of announcing a "Wake" for the both of you.:zlove: P.S. Mine will be having the AFM checked-out at UAS tomorrow (might also look at a Microtech, or similar, but that depends on the AFM result.)
I hope that you do Chili.... Mate, best of luck to you with that... Microtech hey??? Going the mini guns  Mate if you are going there, why not go all out and grab an Autronic? hahha... then you might be able to beat stock turbos  Just Stirring mate. Hey, what sorta torque figures where you putting out Chili when you first got your car tuned at Spiro's??
Great Day.... It was a great day and great to see some power from the ZED's My little black beast pulled 205.9KW at the wheels, so im more than happy.
Dyno sheets October 2003 sheet was after rebuild, but not run-in (4 hrs on dyno). November 2003 sheet was after being run-in, and after failure of Oct turbo's, and subsequent replacement. Best figure was 356rwhp, but was wound back to 341rwhp so as to leave a safety margin.
Johnny Baby picks look good. You got to organise another one soon so the sh..! box can come and have a run. Still got to come and get those bits that are missing too so will c u soon hopefully
