Installed and track tested the braces today. The front brace works very well reduced my understeer and just made the steering feel tighter and more responsive. I'm not sure about the rear brace though there is already alot of metal between the rear strut towers. Knocked 0.7s off my PB, but also installed a new rear swaybar at the same time.

One annoying thing about the front brace is that it fouls on the bonnet, time to get the die grinder out.

Guys a quick update. The order came in short and i have been waiting on an ETA from the supplier before contacting members to see what they want to do.

I have that info and am sending a PM as we speak.

The orders that UAS can fill have been offered on a "first deposits paid" basis (going off my bank statement). The others have a choice of full "no questions asked" refund or wait until December.

    More info in PM.

Thats weird, thought these were meant to clear everything no probs? Even my Npower strut closes with no issues.

it just touches on the passenger side under one of the plastic heat shield clips I removed the clip and cut away some of the heat shield but still makes my bonnet stick up noticeably on the passenger side and you can hear it squeaking over bumps :(

Damn, mine only JUST rubs on the heat shield, after 3 months being on the car can just see a slight slight rub mark, doesn't make the bonnet stick up at all. Quite happy with it actually, and doesn't cut into the fuel lines like other people were complaining about (checked that, not even touching) :D

We fixed that on the N*power ebay front brace by using a little angle grinder persuasion. But I don't think you'd want to do that to your nice carbing brace hey...

yeah I ground a bit off the bonnet instead but the brace is already marked where they were rubbing on each other but not to bad

These were the last two PM's I received.

My apologies for not contacting you about this sooner, I have been waiting for final numbers and a revised ETA so that we all know what we are dealing with. I had this info mid week but due to work commitments (just bought a business) I just have not had the five minutes spare to sit down and get this organised.

As I have posted in the main thread, the order has come through short. Of the 24 braces ordered, only 15 have turned up.

I have gone through my bank statement and allocated the available braces on a "first paid" basis as I think this is the fairest way to do it.

The remainder of the order should be available to send by the christmas break period. So options for you guys are

    1. Refunds are available for those that want out
    2. Stay in the group buy and wait until remaining stock comes in
    3. Five people are still waiting for rear braces. I have four available that I can send out for those that want them. Option to cancel your order for the front brace or hold out.

Once again my apologies for not attending to this sooner.

Please let me know what you would like to do.
